Travelers who are keen
to make a trek to Tibet Everest Base Camp (North face) from friendship
highway can join this trek with us. This trek commences from Lao
Tingri (old Tingri), a popular stop for travelers who are passing
by. You can see the distance view of Mt. Everest and Mt. Cho-Oyu
from this place. Our ultimate goal is Mt. Everest Base Camp (Rongbuk)
and it requires a four day's time to get there. Since there are
no lodges/guesthouses en route, we are obliged to bring all necessary
logistics (camping & kitchen gear, foods and service crew) from
Kathmandu OR from Lhasa for the entire trekking part.
We can combine this trek with Lhasa tour or even with a tour to
Mt. Kailash & Lake manasarovar, so accordingly we can commence
our journey via Lhasa or via Zhang-Mu (the border town of Tibet
) with an overland journey from Kathmandu . Also, travelers who
are willing to travel in Tibet via mainland China can take part
in Everest Base Camp trek.
The best time to trek to Tibet Everest Base Camp is between May
and September. However travelers visit this region from April till
end of October too. From October, the weather in Everest Base Camp
becomes very cold. So, people do not visit this region so often
after October.
The trip to Everest Base Camp can be organized any time between
April and October on your request. Also, the program can be customized
according to travelers timeframe and requirements.
