Trekking in Nepal is a new experience for lifetime and a wonderful way to unwind from the stresses of everyday life .
Season: From mid September to the end of May and Main seasons are Mid Sept to November and March to May.
We offer two styles of Trekking depending on your Accessibility, Camping Trek and Tea House Trek.
Camping trek:
A day in the mountains follows a natural rhythm, soon after dawn you wake to a steaming cup of bed tea delivered to your tent. Whilst you are planning for the day ahead the cook team prepares breakfast. After breakfast you can expect to walk for three or four hours in the morning, before a leisurely lunch followed by another three or so ours in the afternoon. You travel at your own pace along the trails which link Nepal's tiny hamlets many of which are ancient trade routes originating from Tibet. There is generally ample time for photography or other personal interests especially on our less arduous treks . You will be expected to carry a small day sack containing your personal possessions. Evening is a time to relax and catch up on the day. Overnights are spent in large two person tents.
On all of our camping treks , we observe the need to tread as lightly as possible. All waste paper is burnt. All other non-biodegradable garbage is disposed of appropriately. All water is purified; vegetables are treated with a water iodine base.
Mountain Lodge Trek:
Trekking days are similar to camping treks apart from your meals and sleeping accommodation are provided by lodges on route. |
